Print Dialog when Sending Email

edited July 2006 in Devices
The print dialog doesn't appear when sending Email with a filetype of
PDFFile and ShowPrintDialog set to true.

It does appear when printing to a PDF from the report previewer? Something
I'm missing or not supported?

Thanks! RB 10.03B2 Delphi 6SP2 trsClientReport

    Hi Jon,

By design the print dialog is always suppressed when sending an email. What
    are you trying to accomplish?

I'm looking to generate feedback on screen for the user. Some of the
reports take a couple of minutes to generate/send and the app looks like it
dies. The prtint dialog showing "Printing page 53..." works well for this.

    Hi Jon,

Thanks for the clarification. I thought you were talking about the Print
Dialog that shows up when you print to the printer. You can control the
Cancel Dialog using the EmailSettings.ShowCancelDialog property of the
    Report.

    ShowCancelDialog was it after all...

Should I be able to hit the Cancel button and have it kill the report? I'm
getting an AV with I hit Cancel and can't get very far trying to trace into
    it. I'm using RB10.03B2 Delphi 6, trsclientreport.

    Hi Jon,

Are you hitting the cancel button on the cancel dialog or on the preview
window? Please give me the exact steps you are taking to recreate this AV.
