I'm use Report Builder Enterprise 9.03 with Delphi 7. Then I try to use PDF output from my reports with cyrillic symbols I'm getting "_" character instead of russian symbols
The native PDF device does not support embedded fonts. This is the reason the font is not displaying properly. It has been added to our to-do list for a future release of ReportBuilder to add this feature.
One option to solve this problem is to try upgrading your version of Acrobat. Lately (especially for Acrobat 7.x) Adobe has been adding more native fonts to the reader enabling it to properly display fonts that were unavailable in the past.
Another is to try exporting to PDF using one of the third party options available. I believe all three third party PDF export devices support embedded fonts.
