Citrix Uniprint Client & Transparent Image

edited October 2004 in Devices
Hi

I have a report with a watermark. I create a bitmap, insert the text and
assign the bitmap to a TppImage with Transparent set to true. This has been
working perfectly on Citrix servers. A client has now installed Citrix
Uniprint and now the image appears fine on preview, prints the same if sent
directly to a printer but if printed to Uniprint the image is no longer
transparent.

I am still on 6.02 and have read the posts on black images but I am not sure
we are talking about the same thing here. The text is still visible and
although the background appears black I think this is just the background
colour I selected (Teal).

Any ideas?

Dave

Try testing with RB 7.04, you can download a trial from our web site.

I dont't know what Citrix Uniprint is, but I conclude from your description
that it does not support the transparency in the same manner as the other
    printer drivers.

Printer Drivers vary widely in how they support color, images, and in
general how they support the Windows API. That is what is so frustrating.
ReportBuilder makes standard Windows API calls, but that does not guarantee
    success.

RB <---> Windows API <---> Printer Driver <--> Printer
