Advantage Tables - Report Builder Fails

I am having a great deal of trouble maiking Report Builder work with
Advantage tables. I am using the Standard Edition with Delphi V. Date
selection is impossible, at least I have not been successful. I have tried
every Report Builder and Advantage Demo. Does Report Builder Standard
Edition work with Advantage Tables? You know this has been very frustrating
for me. I find a table substitute that does not need BDE, but I cannot find
an adequate report writer. I have tried every Report Builder demo
substituting the Advantage table or the Advantage Query. All the reports
fail with error message (Query) or incorrect data (Table Filter).

Hi Whitney,

please provide more informations about your problem before cross-posting and complaining in several groups!
You can use ReportBuilder in conjunction with Advantage successfully. I have no problems.
e.g. you should use at least the right date format when using a query or working with the filter property of a table component.
If there is an error message you should provide this message, otherwise it will be difficult to help you.
Are you able to create a query you need with ADA (Advantage Data Architect)?
BTW, there is no need for a new thread until you have a new question, there has been answers in the other threads.

Explain exactly what the problem is. Our company has been working with
Report Builder and Advantage for just over 2 years and have never
experienced this problem.

Using both Report Builder and Advantage you should see lightning fast
reports like we do. Explain in more detail and I am sure either ourselves
or someone else on the newsgroup can help.
