Simple 2 Page Report

edited January 2012 in General
Hi

I want to create a non-banded 2 page report with information on the first page and a full size chart on the second.

I must be missing something in how to achieve this!

Regards

Richard

    Hi Richard,

There are numerous ways to accomplish this type of report.

    1. Create a report with a single detail band and two section style
subreports inside. Each subreport represents a single page. You can
stretch the detail bands of each subreport to the size you need just as
long as the total band space does not exceed the page size.

    2. Another option would be to place the first page info in the main
report's detail band (stretched), and the second page info in the
Summary band with the NewPage property set to True.

Notes: If you are using RB 14, it may be easier to place all the
information in a page layer. Page layers print behind the main report
but since you do not need bands, you can leave them blank.
