Two DBCharts and Access violation in vcldesigner70.bpl

Hi,

I did a new installation on Windows7 with Delphi7, TeeChart Pro 2010 and
Reportbuilder Professional 12.04.

I experience the problem mentioned in the subject.

I had a look at the reply of Nico Cizik on the posting:

" Inside your Component | Install Packages
list in the Delphi IDE, look for an entry "ReportBuilder DBTeeChart 7.0
Component" pointing toward the rbTDBC107.bpl package. Uncheck this package
and remove it from the list. That should solve the issue.

This package is provided for backward compatibility with older versions of
RB."

I have the same problem but inside my Delphi7's Component | Install
Packages, the check-box is checked for to ReportBuilder DBTeeChart 9.0
Component. It refers to ppChrtDB.pas in C:\Program Files
(x86)\Borland\Delphi7\RBuilder\TeeChart\Tee900

There is no other installed ReportBuilder package referring to TeeChart Pro.

Help in this regard, will be appreciated.

Hi Nols,

1. As in my previous post, remove the entry for DBTeeChart 9.0 from the
list of installed components in Delphi.

2. Uninstall, then reinstall ReportBuilder. I highly recommend
upgrading your version of ReportBuilder to 12.05. Contact
info@digital-metaphors.com for upgrade instructions.

3. If this does not successfully add the TeeChart 9.0 package
(dclRBC127) to your installed components list, try to manually install
it using the instructions in the following article.
