Report builder in other language shows english menu's

edited October 2011 in General
Hi,

We are using the report builder as wel in English as in Dutch.
We notices that some of the right clic menu's are not always displayed in
the right language...

When opening a report in dutch for example, and selecting a "title" section,
right clic will show everything in dutch, but the same right clic in the
footer will show the options in english...?

How does the report builder chooses which language it's going to use when
opening menu's?

We set the ppReport.Language to dutch when opening the report designer...

Thankx

    Hi Chantal,

Which version of ReportBuilder and Delphi are you using? In my testing
with RB 12.05 and Delphi XE, all band and component popup menus were
translated in the designer including the Footer band. Does this
behavior only occur at runtime or is it also happening at design-time?
Are you certain your application has access to all the language .dll
    files needed for multiple translations?

We are using the last version 12.05, en delphi 2007.
I've just noticed that the problem only occurs with existing reports, made
with earlier version of the report builder (we've juste upgraded from
    version 10 to 12).
At design time only. There are no recht klik menu's available at runtime,
only the search and print options, which have no language problems.

Creating a new report shows everything in dutch.
Existing reports are unpredictable, some menu's are in ducht, other in
english...was the language saved somewhere else before, some kind of "user
    settings" ?

If possible, please send me a simple example using one of the older
reports that demonstrates the issue and I'll track down the problem.

Send the example in .zip format to support@digital-metaphors.com.

I was unabled to recreate the problem with a demo report because it involves
    a language change.

But I'v found the source of the problem and a work around.
I've sent the details to your support email address.

    Regards,
    Chantal
