Duplicating columns

edited June 2011 in General

Hi,

I have a report that I use for printing menus which has 3 columns per
page, one for each menu when there are multiple menus.

This works fine. What I would like to do is if there is only one menu
to print then print the same menu in all 3 columns.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The detail band has a BandsPerRecord property that can be used to duplicate
information. It is often used when printing labels. Perhaps that could be
    used to solve your requirements.

    Nard,

That doesn't seem to help. I just get the items spread across the 3
columns. What I want is all of the items in all columns.

I am also using column headers.

I thought you might have a master/detail setup in which the master
represented the menu (column) and a subreport generated the menu items.
Perhaps you could organize the data like that and have each menu start a new
column. I'm just trying to think of possible approaches to try.

I could do that yes. I just thought there might be a more simple way of
    doing it.
