Printing MAP component on WEB Report

edited May 2016 in Server
Hi
I'm working with GMAP component with RBServer and publishing report in
files. The web report works OK with preview but when the PDF is
generated, the maps are not shown. What could it be happening? Should I
configure something else?.
I'm using RBServer 17.02
Thanks

Ignacio

    Hi Ignacio,

I created a simple test here and the GMap report previewed and printed to
PDF correctly. I tested with the ClientReport and the WebTier. Try testing
generating to PDF in a standard VCL form app, then try testing from the
    ClientReport (use the RBServer\Demos\Clients\ClientReportExplorer project).
Internally the GMap component generates an image draw command, which is
processed by the preview or PDF devices as an image.

I used Delphi 10.1 Berlin and RB 17.02 for testing.

    Thanks Nard
I already tested generating PDF in a standar VCL form and it works the
same as previewing web report. All testing were ok except WEB report to PDF
    Any idea?

What version of Delphi are you using?

Please try a test with the ClientReport generating a PDF (see my prior
    reply)

Please try a test using a trivial one page report with only a GMap (no
event-handler code or other components). Save the report to an .rtm and have
    the server use the .rtm.

    Thanks for answering.
I believe I found the problem. It's about the browser. I use Firefox
(last version) and it seems to be that firefox adobe add-on is not
working correctly because I tried with chrome browser and internet
    explorer and it works OK!.
I couldn't believe that. I spent a lot of time, and just by chance, I
tried another browser. Well, now I learned something else!
    Thanks a lot!

    Ignacio
