HTTPS is controlled by the web server software and the certificate you have installed.
I am not aware of any way to suppress those type of errors other than to update your certificate. You could try Googling about it.
My understanding is that the whole point of using HTTPS is that you have a valid certificate - and that if the certificate is not valid the user is notified. When I purchase something with my credit card online I will not make the purchase unless the site has a valid certificate.

Nard you are correct but we recently had a server certificate expire.
Our ASTA data server allows you to ignore the error. (temporarily of course) I wondered if RB server had that setting.
To solve this we built an option in the app that allows users to keep working via HTTP when the SSL HTTPS connection fails. Not as desirable but works in a pinch.
