Images are ugly when downsized, better quality?

Hello,
everytime i want to insert an image into a report, and the image is slightly bigger than the needed size and gets downsized, the result is really uggly, chiseled, pixelated, sometimes a bit shifted.

I tried many different image types, no change.
Is there a way to insert high quality images also when downsized?
Additional is there a possibility to include vector graphics like SVGs?

Thank you very much in advance

  • Hello,

Please update you user credentials to include your full name.

Which version of ReportBuilder and Delphi are you using? What format are the images pixelated? (i.e. in the previewer, PDF, printer, etc).
    Best Regards,

  • Hi,
I am facing the same problem with ugly pictures/logo when importing them. I am using a very old version of report builder 10.09 and delphi7.

Could you advise what image type, dpi and dimension should work for the best result? Print and PDF.
