New DB fields or Labels added to an old report do not populate

I have a report i created a long time ago with an older version of RB. When i add a label in a band, it will not show up in preview nor when i run the program. All the new DB fields added show as the field name and not the data itself. When i run the program, everything new is blank but all the old data created years ago populate fine. I tried to add a ppreport.reset, tried to clear the cache, still nothing. I have a master pipeline and a detail pipelines. I am at loss right now.
Any advice ?

    You probably checked this, but recheck your datapipeline and datafield connection on a DB component that is not showing the data. The toolbar usually shows these in the upper left, although that can be customized and moved around. The properties for data should show up in the property inspector. Most likely the pipeline is not the same pipeline as your other data. When you go to Report / Data on the Design tab, you can see which pipeline the report is using. Make the component pipeline the same.

    I am having exactly this same problem. Edits to the layout of previously inserted text and dB Fields appear in preview and in the compiled app, but even insertion of a single word "Test" label in a blank area of the old report is not visible in preview or in the compiled report. I am running Delphi Berlin 10.1 and RB 23.03 Standard.

    Just a thought - Have you tried saving the report to an RTM and inspecting the file?

    Which version of ReportBuilder was used to create the original template? If possible, please send a copy of the template to support@ so we can test it here and find a solution.

    Report was created originally 12-14 years ago so perhaps RB 12, then edited in 17 and 18. I have sent in the RTM and screenshots in a separate email to Nard. I have project and deadline related windows open all over this machine so I have not rebooted since installing the update to 23.03 from 23.01.

    Have rebooted now, but it made no difference.
